Hello,

I have been doing some literature research on direct PDMS 3D printing on microchips. As far as I know, researchers have been printing a master mold, then cast the PDMS resin and cure it to get the desired microchip. Does anyone know if it is possible to print PDMS directly to make a microchip? If so, do you have any publications for it? (Direct as in, how the master mold is made with other polymers)

Another question I have is, does it matter what materials are used as the master mold and I can just use the PDMS resin to cast it onto the mold and cure it to get the microchip that I want? I am thinking to use regular PLA polymer to print the mold of the microchip and then cast the PDMS on it to get the PDMS microchip.

Thank you.

Anne
