There are some publications related to computational simulation of extrusion of materials using FEM software. Some attempt to provide microstructural evolution of the grain size, but their models are mostly empirically-based.
At the same time, I haven't been able to find publications of simulation of microstructure evolution of bimodal material during extrusion. If you know any publications related to this, please advise.
