Wondering if anyone here might be familiar with using STROBE Quality Checklist and wouldn't mind assisting me to answer some of the questions I have regarding this. I personally find my interpretation of some questions to be quite subjective and would like opinions from researchers here who have experience using this.

Realize the history behind the development of such instruments. Similar to medications, such tools are often used "off label" so to speak. That is legal, but the people who develop the instruments and revised them will be the first to tell you that their intent and the external validity of utilizing such guideline for other purposes than what was the intent is problematic.
Often times, the interpretation of the question being asked can be confusing when first encountered. In general, judgement enables the possibility of some "wiggle " room, the simplest answer is the most direct. It is easy for all of us to fall prey to "paralysis by analysis". Consistency is useful. Any instrument, however precise, reproducible answers, may consistently be inaccurate. These are important concepts to understand and embrace as they will enable one to have fun learning.
