I am trying to measure the resistance/resistivity of Carbon nanotube (CNT) by Van der pauw (VDP) method. I have fabricated CNT resistive device with CNT in the middle and Cr/Au as the electrodes on the four corners. I use Keysight B1500A with four SMUs for this measurement and software (KITE) that automatically does the VDP measurements. The problem is that I get my results are different when I do the VDP manually and with the software. The resistance with software can be obtained even by applying 30mA but with the manual VDP (changing the electrodes by hand/physically) only a few uA of applied current shows linear (I-V). Please share your experience and knowledge or any paper/book you have read on this issue. Thanks in advance.
