If I recall, several years go, mine did not work with Roche kit. Than I shifted to Apoptag (S7100, Millipore, now more advanced kits might be there), that worked well on paraffin sections, I am sure cryo should work better. You can still verify from Roche Technical help why it did not work. You should take some positive control also.

I incubate the TUNEL solution overnight and then 2h at 37ºC and it works fine.We use the ROCHE kit.
