I have been using a MATLAB script called DeepSqueak to analyze vocal communication in mice. One of the outcomes of this analysis is the transition probability between the different syllables that the mice perform. I would like to do a quantitative analysis of the differences between the use of the syllables in my different groups but I have not been able to find any paper that does that and I'm no statistician. So, at this point I don't have any idea on how to analyze this data other than qualitative differences. Could anybody help?
