Any suggestions for a DNA extraction kit that I can use for an "insect soup" up to 8ml?

Dear All,

I am going to use meta-barcoding and I would like to ask if anyone knows any DNA extraction maxi kit that I can use for an "insect soup" up to a maximum of 8ml (~2g) starting material of homogenized insects (which is ~10% of my actual sample)?

Use tween-60 or any alkali for fast extraction of DNA. Use any alkali solution and proteinase k to digestion histone proteins and other contents. You can use Promega kit or Fermentas. Sigma-Aldrich provides Genomic DNA Purification kits and reagents.
