I am going to test flow cytometry and western blot on our cells first. But there are antibodies for intracellular domain and extracellular domain. One paper mentions EPOR has two truncated form. Does it means that antibodies for intracellular domain can detect activate EPOR?

I also notice several papers criticized the specificity of those commercialized antibodies. Most research groups added one or two more experiments to verify their own antibodies using western blot and their gene knockdown cells. Excepted these methods, is there other suitable EPOR antibody available?
