I'm looking for effective transfection reagent for siRNA treatment of C6/36 cells. I've used DharmaFect and Lipofectamine2000, but it gave transient knock-down of the protein or ineffective knock-down.
E.g. X-tremeGene HP DNA transfection reagent (Roche, USA)

You can try shRNA knockdown, or genome editing to knock out. Sometimes, double siRNA transfection may increase the knockdown efficiency.

When starting any transfection experiment, I recommend optimizing first with a GFP plasmid to check transfection efficiencies. Once you have optimized that, then you move onto siRNA. And most people recommend using a pool of 2 or 3 siRNA for optimal knockdown.
