Dear colleagues,
Hi. Working in a Mass Spectrometry proteomics lab, we are exposed to organic solvents, e.g. Acetonitrile (ACN) from time to time.
Upon discarding them (e.g. a few liters) into a chemical waste tank, inevitably, I reckon that the smell/aerosol/vapor of ACN is quite strong.
Any measures your laboratory use to minimize the potential exposure (e.g. face mask, breathing apparatus)? Thank you.
