Hello everyone,

We are trying to establish a primary cell culture from the parasympathetic ganglia of the mouse heart. However, although we get to see some neuron-like cells in our culture, we are not able to make any electrophysiological recording with them. Our cultures appear unhealthy and not clean enough.

Does anybody have a working protocol for this type of cell culture that can be shared?

Furthermore, does anybody know about a lab (preferably in Europe) where this primary culture is routinely performed and would be eventually opened for a short stay to learn it and open possible collaborations?
