After I did the MSP, I kept the PCR products in 4 degree for about 3 weeks and 1 week they were at room temperature. Would it give me good sequencing result?
Sure,MSP utilizes the sequence differences between methylated alleles and unmethylated alleles which occur after sodium bisulfite treatment. The frequency of CpG sites in CpG facilitate this sequence difference. The stability of the gene was kept at room temperature .So,it is possible to give you good sequencing result if it isNot being polluted.
Thank you Mansaf, Wangfuzhi, Sibnarayan and Shilu for your answers. I really appreciate it. Im gonna see the gel electrophoresis result soon.. hopefully they're still good for sequencing process..
just a piece of advice.. plz take care of your labwork fom A to Z including during postage as my samples were held at the postage office because they didn't have driver to send the samples.. I knew after 2 days.. it never happened to me before.. hmm.. still got other procedures to do to make an urgent parcel to arrive on the next day.. am not gonna use that express post anymore.
