From what I see, gemorpohology of proglacial zones of tropical glaciers has not been a major issue of concern. Together with my students, we're planning a small geomorphological project on Zongo glacier in Bolivia (drone, DEM, gemorphological map). Any publications, maps or more ideas for research would be of great use.

you should check out the work of Vincent Jomelli & colleagues. Some dating work on moraines in Bolivia - hoping to meet up with him next week in fact, so I will let you know if anything else useful to you!

Here you have data set from Chilean and Argentinean Andes. Despite the fact it is not Bolivian Andes, you may still find there some interesting information on glacier changes in S America.

What I lack the most at the moment are publications dealing with glacial geology, sedimentology and glacial landforms in the tropical South America. Maybe you have something in your personal libraries?

In case you are not aware of Google Scholar can I just mention that you are probably better to look for the papers you need using it. Here I have used it to find papers on hummocky moraines in the Andes.

Ok, I found reference to Heine (1996) when reading Smith et al 2005 in Quaternary International (an excellent summary read) earlier today. I can't get access to it, but if you find it online I'd be interested in getting a copy from you! Apparently Heine did some mapping of moraines in the Zongo valley:

There is a number of articles from Argentina and Chile, but still the tropics (Boliva, Peru, Ecuador...) are poorly represented in the subject mentioned previously. From what I see, there is a knowledge gap, that my students and I will try to fill, at least a small bit. Thank you for all your responses.
