You could try extraction with methanol or ethyl acetate. Of course the extraction efficiency of ellagic acid (and any other compound!) will depend on other factors such as pH, temperature, time, alcohol content and surface area. In case your raw sample is a solid (e.g. wood, bark, nuts, berries, leaves) you might want to include a grinding/cutting step before the sohxlet extraction.

In case it is liquid then you could decide to do liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) protocols. There are plenty of articles available in the literature to guide you on the best option. Here´s an example.
