Hello all,
I need to make 2mm hydrophobic wells to be able to stain my samples and scan the whole field at once. I have tried to make these wells using regular pad pens but they do not work very well. I was wondering if there is any other options to pap pens that I could use.

Sorry, dear Alessandro: I am guessing: "wells" 2 mm ==> depth or 2 mm ==> in diameter? and which samples to stain: sections, small tissue blocks,... .as a shot into the blue: why not use block-dishes or watch-glasses or 'Tuepfelplatten' (='plate with cavities') made either from porcelain or clear glass (latter cf. for an image: http://www.urhammer.de/tupfelplatte-glas-mit-12-vertiefungen ) Best wishes and regards.
