Is it possible to isolate blood cells of NF-kappa B luciferase - reporter mice, challenge these cells ex vivo and subsequently measure the luminescence ?
Is there anyone that has a protocol for this kind of procedure?

could work with lymphocytes. Or you use bone marrow cells, isolate and treat them. But be aware all these cell types don't get along so good in vitro.
For isolation you could do ficoll and eighter Macs sort the cells or try to culture them as a mix population
