According to the last diagnostic criteria of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) (Miyakis 2006), anticardiolipin antibody (aCL) has to be > 40 GPL (IgG) or > 40 MPL (IgM). However, most of the publications on APS consider either >15 GPL or MPL or even less than that. Shall we consider >15GPL or MPL to denote aCL positive in APS patients?

Any explanation on this?
