Hi friends,

I was running an analysis in Ansys workbench. The results are displayed without any error even though some of the elements are having negative Jacobian ratio (as seen form the mesh statistics- mesh metrics). should not the results not be displayed if some of the elements have negative Jacobian? I remember that in APDL if we are importing mesh form external meshing tool, then it does not solve if there are elements with negative jacobian even if we turn off shape checking. Any explanation for this?
