What is the way to find force applied for known displacement given at one end of 2 dimensional rectangle block in ANSYS?. In ANSYS i was only able to give force and find displacement . How to do it in reverse case as finding force for some value of displacement. My model is simple 2 dimensional rectangle block, How can i give displacement condition and force calculation? Plz help me out of these ?
In POST1, you can use 'spoint--nsel--fsum' APDL commands to get the force at an assigned section.

Can i know how can i give displacement to one end of block . since i can see only constraint options there.
You can fix one end provide the value of displacement at another end then after solving calculate reactions at the fixed end.
An imposed displacement at some node is simply obtainrd by imposing a constraint at that node with a non-zero value
