I am pleased to announce a Special Issue in Toxics (MDPI) that I am editing entitled "Effects of Endocrine Active Chemicals on Aquatic Animals and Ecosystems". Contributions are welcomed that include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

• Understanding Mechanisms of Action: Investigating biological pathways and processes altered by EACs at the molecular and cellular levels to establish causal relationships and to assist with adverse outcome pathway (AOP) development.
• Interactive/mixture effects of EACs and multiple stressors: Describing how causal relationships in EACs emerge or behave in real-world scenarios.
• Biomarkers of Exposure and Effect: Evaluating the reliability and specificity of different biomarkers for EACs used in aquatic monitoring programs.
• Ecological Consequences: Exploring how the impacts of EACs on individual aquatic animals and their populations impact ecological health.
• Discovery: Investigating the potential impacts of newly identified and emerging EACs on aquatic animals.

The deadline for manuscript submissions is 9th May 2025.
