Dear community!
I'm currently trying to improve my transcardiac perfusion technique in mice: in my previous stainings, there was a lot of blood vessels which bound my antibodies, which made my analysis quite diffcult.
Maybe you can come up with possible reasons why i have so many blood vessels in my tissue.

I tend to think so, I used the liver and its color change as an indicator for having removed all blood...
But I will consider perfusing longer with sodium chloride beforehand, thank you very much!
Which tissues are you trying to rid of blood? Some areas are more difficult (Ex. Head) & slight pinch in area may cause that region to be closed off from flushing before perfusion. If tissue appears throuroughly perfused, but still see blood, then area is not cut off, but you need to increase amount of flushing fluid. I typically use 20mL PBS for a mouse, but some use 50 mL.
