I believe, the election of Trump as the president of the United States, was completely a great threat to the popularity, the power and the penetrating charismatic face of the US in any society or negotiation. He does whatever he likes ignoring the international frameworks and rules.
Had the US citizens had the chance of returning back and analyzing his deep thoughts, I am sure they would have never ever chosen such a person, possessing fascistic opinions.
We should step aside and see what is going to happen this year.
The following elements, among others, should be considered in any analysis of the foreign policy of Trump's administration:
1- War trade between China and the USA, including the imposition to retaliatory tariffs on countries that violate trade agreements or engage practice affecting the USA interest.
2- Inmigration policy.
3-Climate change.
4-Iran nuclear agreement.
5-DPRK nuclear weapon and ballistic program
6-Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
7-Siria conflict.
8-Afganisthan conflict
9-Venezuela conflict and Cuba's economic embargo.
10-Europe and USA economic and military differences
The main principle of Trump Doctrine is to achieve absolute power and, if possible, to create a unipolar world based on American supremacy. The main purpose is to have an irresistible power. Instead of chaos, order will be focused and the use of force will not be avoided. According to Trump, foreign policy should be based on national interests rather than ideology. For Trump, American interests are above all else and nothing can be sacrificed. In Trump's foreign policy, the concepts of power and interest are used in the same sense as in classical realism. for detail see Preprint Comparing the Bush, Obama and Trump Foreign Policies: Contin...
Trump Doctrine is based on increasing American military and economic strength. Unlike the Obama period, soft power is not given importance. Another key factor is Israel's security issue. Additionally, the main parameters also include reducing the influence of Iran in the region. Finally, national security and power are also constantly highlighted by Trump. He expressed that: "I think nuclear weapon is power. The power to destroy is very important to me."
As we all know that Donald Trump won the 2016 election thanks to his foreign policy agenda, so, voters who supported Trump identified priority issues such as international trade, immigration, and terrorism -- all an integral part of the president's promise to put 'America first'.
