Dear all,
I am analyzing sodium gluconate using USP monograph
"http://www.pharmacopeia.cn/v29240/usp29nf24s0_m76600.html"
Using the assay section I analyzed the sodium gluconate but I did not reach the end point (colorless) and the solution is still red even with adding more titrant.
So, it would be so much appreciated if some one can guide me and give me the clue of this analysis?

You may check your indicator, Quinaldine red TS.
Quinaldine red is an indicator that turns from colorless to red between a pH of 1.0-2.2.
That means at the end point the solution color should be red (pH 1.0-2.2).
In your question you pointed out that the reaction color was red from the start to the end.

Many thanks for your kind reply, If you have checked the attached link, it says that the end point is colorless. However I have find what you said somewhere else. this titration starts with pink and ends with pink-red and based on what you say, it is highly difficult to understand the end point?
