I'm also in the process of gathering the ingredients for a new batch of AM. We used so far the recipe from the IJO paper. Other recipes I've found use DMEM instead of Eagle's minimal essential medium but are otherwise very similar to this one. I looked for newer protocols but didn't found any.
I'll see it in 2-3 days and I'll write you. About the EMEM medium, I can't tell from the recipe how much L-glutamine I should add to the medium, and also it writes nothing about glucose, pyruvate and sodium bicacrbonate concentrations :( I think I'll have to consult with some cell culture experts here before I start working..
