I use to culture AGS cells in 10%FBS+RPMI-1640. Doubling time is almost 48 hours. Trypsinization (0.25% trypsin; 0.05% EDTA) 90-120 seconds. Culture type: Adherent. Storage: Liquid nitrogen vapor phase

I culture AGS cells in 10%FBS+ham's F-12. And the serum is from Gibco. I have known RPMI-1640 is ok for AGS but I haven't used it.

I routinely culture AGS cells for my experimental studies. I found the cells grow well in RPMI1640, 10% FBS, 1% PC/SM antibiotics.
