After cellulose is dissolved and regenerated in water, a regenerated cellulose hydrogel is formed. I want to know if there is crystallinity inside the hydrogel, or it will not crystallize until it dries to form a thin film.
After the cellulose solution is regenerated, will the regenerated cellulose gel hinder the migration of metal ions in the internal solvent (the zinc chloride system used), because after the gel is dried, there will always be some zinc.
Dear Wang Chizhou, yes it contains generally a low percentage of crystalline zones compared to the solid state, but it depends on the source and preparation conditions. Yes, the degree of crystallinity varies with the sythesis methods and conditions used to prepare cellulose hydrogel, and accordingly their physical properties changes. As suggested by Abdelkader BOUAZIZ
