Aesthetic error bars in ggplot2?

Hello,

I'm a beginner in R and at making graphs for publication.

My points and 95% CI seem to overlap between groups . At some points the CI are really small -- doesn't seem to look aesthetic. Would you recommend changes to this? Like shading? I need the graphs to be black and white, no colors.

Personally, I think this is very readable as it is. You could try changing the line type of your control group to make it dashed, but I think that might just make it worse.
