Obviously, there are author permission issues, but I assume that is not your question.

If there is adequate validation information for each component to be added, I would be surprised if there is a problem. Herein, I am assuming that the scores would be separately summated for each previously validated subscale.

Others may think of other issues, but I see:

1. Does the scale become to long?

2. For some reason, and I doubt this would be the case, does the juxtaposition of these scales cause damage somehow to the aforementioned validation information for each -- confounding across subscales.

Noura Albarakati. What you are planning to do is done all the time in surveys. I see no problem in it, particularly if you don't alter the scales from their original form (and as long as there are not copyright issues). And I assume you're not altering the original scales because you use the word "adopt", not "adapt".

As suggested above, I think it would probably be a good idea to provide some information about the scales in previous research as well as such things as coefficient alpha (and maybe even factor structure), if appropriate and possible, in your own data.
