I'm looking for some raw data for the transmission through the air in my lab, specifically in the MIR region.

I've found a lot of data online that gives transmission vs wavelength, but the units for transmission are rarely given, and it's unclear to me if they mean transmission through the whole atmosphere (which would include air of varying absorption coefficients due to the thinner air at increased altitude).

Absorption cross section data would also be fine. But then I'd need atomic number density, which would be another challenge to find. Bonus points for data like this for individual gases that make up the atmosphere as well (especially H2O and CO2)! Thanks for any answers or advice!
