I am investigating thermospheric mass density profiles between 300-800 km altitude. I would like to compare the variability with other parameters, including temperature, electron content, etc.
Dear Wondimeneh Demissew , The existing models are unable to represent with high precision and acuracy the actual variability. There is a lack of measurements (observational data), especially in the form of altitudinal profiles from about 300 to 800 km. As long as I know, only ionospheric profiles from GPS radio occultation can provide such kind of data, while measuring profiles of temperature, density, etc. seem to be a challenge.
