I try to check the uv-vis absorption of Indium nanoparticle.
Now I am measuring in solution, can I measure it in the form of a film?
Mingyu Kwak
You no longer have nano particles in a film. There are no free, discrete, independent particles < 100 nm.
Dear Mingyu Kwak,
You can measure the indium films using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer to check the plasmonic peaks. As Alan mentioned, the size of nano particles should be less than 100nm.
Alternatively you can easily check your nanoparticles under a microscope.

If I make the film with polymer and particle, Can't I see the surface plasmon resonance peak?
I mean does polymer effect to surface plasmon resonance?
I try to make the indium nanoparticle and check the uv vis spectrum. I heard that In nanoparticle has surface plasmon resonance peak at 200~300nm. But most of solvent has absorption peak under...
