Hi All,

I have a quick question: Are all neurons positive to Fluor-Jade (FJ) dyes dying?

I found several reference papers demonstrating that FJ dyes can stain normal/activated astrocytes. My staining also showed that FJ can stain a subset of astrocytes in naive mice.

Is there any paper showing that not all FJ-positive neurons go to die?

Any suggestion is highly welcomed.

Xiong
