im using highScore Plus to make a perform rietveld refinement for getting (HKL) values ,but it doesn't work !! the problem is no structural data for simulation , any help please !
First, you must know your sample phases (Qualitative analysis). Then you have to download cif files from the COD site: http://www.crystallography.net/cod/result.php
Then you insert cif files with your XRD pattern. Now you can do quantitative analysis with the Rietveld method. But it is really hard to do this with X'pert highscore plus.
I suggest you do this (Quantitative Analysis), with other software like MAUD, Fullprof.
Also if you want I can analyze your file. Just email me your XRD files and tell me your sample elements and fabrication method.
Rania Daha I would recommend profex software. this software is comparatively easy to use and has a lot of youtube tutorials from the developers. It has an inbuilt library of structure files for beginners and additional structure files can be downloaded and added from the link shared by Nima Abbasian.
