Hello I'm trying to model a simple 3D-printing process of a square specimen with the abaqus plugin AM-Modeler.
Quite often, after having submitted the job, the job is still on submitting mode (no status file created) and I can read this error several times in the message file. E

ven after a while the job is not properly cancelled by itself, but still in submitting mode.
Did anyone experience similar problems with abaqus AM-Modeler?

unfortunately, contact modeling in the structural simulation of an AM analysis is not possible with the AM PlugIn of Abaqus.
You have to connect the single parts with tie constraint. Maybe there is a possibility to use cohesive elements. However, cohesive elements cannot be activated and are active during the whole analysis.
However, I am not aware of the fact that the job does not terminate properly by itself after a while, but is still in submit mode, in combination with the error message.
Probably the answer does not give a satisfactory solution. I hope the answer will help you anyway.
