I am looking for suitable positive control for early apoptosis detection to compensation by using Annexin-V + propidium iodide in FACS.
If anyone has an experience with such a drug kindly assist me in regards to drug concentration and incubation total time of treatment to induce early apoptosis on MDA and MCF7 cells.

For MCF-7 cells, I have used TNFA (50ng/ml, 24h) and TSA (300 nM, 48h) to induce apoptosis, you can also include some traditional medicines like 5-FU, Doxorubicin, Lapatinib, Paclitaxel. For details, please refer.

Sorry, Myself do not have experience to induce MDA-MB-231 cell apoptosis. But you can try these reagents mentioned above on MDA-MB-231.Besides, according to published data, you can try EECR (100 ug/ml), carnosol (50uM), DRbeita-H (30ug/ml).
