Hello all,
I want to synthesize ZnO nanoparticles and PBABr in my lab for my LED project. I know the method, but I am not sure how can I check(even visually) that I have arrived at the correct result or prepared correct chemicals, If anyone could help me with that it would be great.

I am trying to synthesize PBABr but after stirring methanol + 4-PBA + HBr , I m not getting any precipitates? Can anyone help?
Dear Jitesh Pandya concerning PBABr (= phenylbutylammonium bromide): As I mentioned in your closely related thread, you can evaporate the solution to dryness and dry the residue under vacuum. Since you don't have any by-products, this procedure should give you a pure product right away. If the residue tends to be oily, you can triturate (stir) it with diethyl ether to get a solid material which you can then dry under vacuum.
