Exponential technologies will cause a maximal transformation of the teaching/learning process. None of these educational transitions, in the next 30 years, will have a minimal quality; exponential learning/teaching will be part of a next generation economic system.Authority, in ethical terms, can only be claimed by those who are ahead in this learning process which is based on mutual partnerships.
I do not believe that technology can be classified as minimally invasive. Today, teachers cannot teach or operate in the classroom without technology. They project lessons on the smart board; they produce power point presentations; they display a YouTube segment; students answer questions online like Kahoot; they communicate with parents through an email account; they record grades in their electronic grade book; students get rewarded with online games; some students read their library books on kindle; students use the Internet for research in science and social studies classes; and, finally, teachers get electronic reports on all students who participate in advanced reading and math remediation programs. So, there is no minimally invasive technology in my opinion. Technology cannot be viewed as an entity separate from the instructional process. It is all inclusive in the 21st Century classroom.
Hello Ali Rahimi, I do not believe that technology can be portrayed as intrusive because it a welcomed innovation in education.Without technology we could not educate children with disabilities and other learning disorders.
In my professional experience, since 1992, I have welcomed all forms of technology in the classroom without even thinking it could be intrusive. Technology facilitates learning in my classroom and with my students.
Exponential technologies have already induced transformation of the teaching/learning process. Accordingly teaching in the educational transitions is largely based on development of models. Next 30 years is too long a period; exponential learning/teaching is already part of the present generation of economic system. Those in authority must realize that time and tide wait for no man; we must remain part of the mainstream right from the start, otherwise we shall be taken by surprise.
Please visit my project on: Exponential Knowledge Automation, here at RG (I have also one question on the production function, where the human learning curve is discussed). Yes, exponentiality is already a part of our economic reality.
