Hello Prof Rahimi, do you remember the 3Rs - reading, writing and arithmetic that we are all used to. I believe that it has good points, should not be dropped completely, and so do many parents.
There are several drawbacks from the point of view of parents. One of the major ones is "In the elementary grades, OBE does not teach children essential reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (such as addition, subtraction and multiplication tables), but pretends to teach them "higher order thinking skills" instead. OBE ignores the obvious fact that one can't engage in "higher order thinking" until one has some facts to think about. " Have a look at the other points on the link. Thanks.
you mentioned some very vital points specially diversity of learners' affective and cognitive competencies and the appropriacy of learners level of education and classroom environments. Thank you very much.
