The problem is i took XRD of BN baron nitride as a bulk and nanosheets of BN. But i got intensity is coming high for Bulk BN and low for nanosheets. One thing also there is that express only one peak at 002. Please provide me answer.
As I already mention the point - Interaction volume.
XRD penetrates into the material from few to several microns. It is clear from this, that bulk BN having larger volume to interact than nano film, So intensity higher for bulk.
Now the 2nd thing, As the bulk sample having the large no. of grains, each giving rise to the intensity of particular peaks (depending upon their orientation). So, bulk will give all possible diffraction peaks. But in nano foil following condition(s) can be the reason:
1) as lesser grains are their it is possible that all orientation are not present, so lower intensity. 002 orientation may be present in the max amount (or having high multiplicity factor, this depends upon crystal structure too).
or
2) nano film can have a texture (preferred orientation) depending upon manufacturing process. that is why you get only one peak.
You should share the mass coverage of your nano sheets sample.
From the term 'nano sheet' I guess that you only have got a few (or even only one) nano sheet in the x-ray beam. Compared to bulk sample you should not wonder about low intensity.
With respect to different peaks heigths I agree with Akeshwar; preferred orientation is a severe issue in non-powder XRD, which goes up to complete peak failure.
