Dignity depends on the morality of human as well as motivation, say , love, affection and peace depends on the mental environment which is sometimes inter-related with dignity. On the other hand, love is valueless without dignity for example food without salt!!!!!
Peace and dignity are born not in international conferences but in people's hearts and thoughts. When you find peace within yourself, you become someone who can live in peace with others. Sometimes war is a troop of peace soldiers
"Peace is not merely the absence of visible conflict. Only a just peace based on the inherent rights and dignity of every individual can truely be lasting." - Barack Obama.

- Aristotle
“Dignity is a mask we wear to hide our ignorance” -Elbert Hubbard P
PEACE:
“Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal.” -Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make, Something you do, Something you are, And something you give away.”
-Robert Fulghum
“To be at one with God is to be at peace ... peace is to be found only within, and unless one finds it there he will never find it at all. Peace lies not in the external world. It lies within one's own soul.”
If it was left with the tortoise and snail, there will be no war (Ghanaian proverb)- The moral import is that humans should imitate the peaceful attitudes of these animals without hating each other.
"Today it is time for every child to have a right to life, right to freedom, right to health, right to education, safety, the right to dignity, right to equality, and right to peace."
Scientific research tells us that dignity indicates and refers to recognizing the self. This is what distinguish humans from other creatures (animate, inanimate). Some research suggests that humans got the highest level of mind structure by having the dignity which can be seen simply by saying "I' am". Other creatures have no ability to do that. Therefore, these creatures do not have the complete human mind structure.
Peace is needed for the dignity to controlled and rest. Without peace, the dignity becomes dangerous. Peace here is referring to inner and outer peace. Inner peace comes from inside the self towards the outside world as well as to the self. Through this inner peace the self can live happily with the community and with the self itself. The outer peace comes from the outside world to the self. If this peace is threatened the human may become a criminal and sure no peace will be gained for both the self and the world. This interaction between the self (dignity or mind) and the surrounding world is always controlled and organized according to the knowledge and teachings in the society. This may include different types from religion, traditions, laws, thoughts, ....., etc.
This is peace with dignity. This is peace with commitment. This is our gift to our peoples and the generations to come…It will be real, as we open our hearts
“Today, no walls can separate humanitarian or human rights crises in one part of the world from national security crises in another. What begins with the failure to uphold the dignity of one life all too often ends with a calamity for entire nations.”
"Human rights education is much more than a lesson in schools or a theme for a day; it is a process to equip people with the tools they need to live lives of security and dignity. On this International Human Rights Day, let us continue to work together to develop and nurture in future generations a culture of human rights, to promote freedom, security and peace in all nations."
"Creating a world that is truly fit for children does not imply simply the absence of war. It means having the confidence that our children would not die of measles or malaria. It means having access to clean water and proper sanitation. It means having primary schools nearby that educate children, free of charge. It means changing the world with children, ensuring their right to participate, and that their views are heard and considered. It means building a world fit for children, where every child can grow to adulthood in health, peace and dignity." -- Carol Bellamy
"Governments must ensure that the power of blogs is cultivated and implemented in collaborative ways, with a view to preserve peace and human dignity."
"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word."
The concept of dignity of man is an invention of Enlightenment, earlier centuries didn't need the concept, because in monotheistic view (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) man is a sinner and has no chance to become free von his sinful desires only by own will. Only God can redeem. But today also the Churches and very religious living people have no doubt in the value of the idea of dignity. This seems reasonable if you take in consideration that man has its own value and nobody should question the value of human life. The German Constitution (Grundgesetz) begins with the sentence: "The dignity of man is unimpeachable"; better said: "...should not be unimpeachable". Because always the messages of the media, every hour, tell us the opposite: Many people suffer by violence, terrorism and humiliation. But it is important to have a standard as a normative law, which shows us every day how far we often are to fulfill this commandment in a civic society.
"Our voice is an independent voice to represent the dignity and the search for peace and the reformulation of the international system; to denounce persecution and aggression of hegemonistic forces on the planet. This is how Venezuela has presented itself. Bolivar's home has sought a nonpermanent seat on the Security Council."
"The World Trade Center is a living symbol of man's dedication to world peace... a representation of man's belief in humanity, his need for individual dignity, his beliefs in the cooperation of men, and, through cooperation, his ability to find greatness."
