In other words, does imposter syndrome affect peoples ability to perform at certain levels or in spite of it people can perform well at any level? Are there other factors to be considered?
persons with Impostor tendencies show fear for failure, particularly in performance tasks, as well as maladaptive perfectionism.
Especially when taking up a new professional position, as well as a challenge, the feelings of imposterism intensify.
Therefore, it is important that those affected face new challenges and are accompanied during the initial process. Successes within the new occupation can then be reflected upon, for example with a coach, in order to ensure that these are internally attributed and as a result increase the general self-estee.

Dear Olutayo Kadmiel Osunsan . Our world is, unfortunately, pregnant with people with acute cases of "imposter syndrome". They are parasites who try to cover their shallow substance with fake identities claiming & pretending and never quit masquerades. What is tragic is that they aim high and might reach high altitudes out of which, inevitably, one day, they fall down and break their empty heads!
