Not at all.. REM has to be replaced by QEM. Cochrane should lead the migration,,,and stop asking their researchers to do REM.

Dear professor, I have read you publications carefully, as well as the user guide of MetaXL. However, I still could not input and analyze any of my data into the software. I failed to find any practical publications, as I suppose maybe some bugs may existed in my computer. And what does AMInputTable mean? The input templates function seems no action..

Thank all of you very much. I finally found that the AMInputTAble was one kind of statistical application of Excel softw. And I already finished the reply to the comment of my previous meta-analysis. After compared with the previous RE model, I think QE would achieve absolutely different result only for meta-analysis included very different level quality studies, espically some large scale but low-quality ones. Thus, results in RE model with a sensitivity analysis may be necessary when used a conditional software. And I believe this QE model is a very good chioce, although rare publication existed in Chinese journals.
