Basically, Power output is calculated as follows: power = [(air density) times (swept area of blades) times (wind speed cubed)] divided by 2. The area is in meters squared, air density is in kilograms per meters cubed and wind speed is in meters per second.

Obtain the wind power density and wind speed maps using the WAsP wind mapping and terrain analysis software and then place turbines on desired locations to determine annual energy production which will then give you the average saving per turbine per year. You can try using different turbines for the analysis. You can also design and optimise your own wind turbine using the Weibull parameters provided by WAsP for your wind regime. Hope this helps.
