This is probably the most important problem to explore and solve in the 21st century.
Unfortunately, many people, including politicians and entrepreneurs managing large industrial corporations ignore the seriousness of this problem. It is necessary to develop research in this area, in the matter of examining the determinants of climate change, global warming, rising average temperature on the Earth, progressing greenhouse effect on Earth. These problems must be publicized in the mass media. While it is not too late, while this unfavorable process can be partially reversed. Or maybe we can not reverse this process anymore? Maybe it's too late? What then, will we be able to protect, at least partially, the biosphere, natural ecosystems due to these adverse climate changes, anomalies and climatic cataclysms, from drought in many areas currently agricultural or possessing a rich biosphere? Research on these topics needs to be developed, publicized, and published. Perhaps, finally, politicians and owners of industrial corporations will change their approach to more pro-ecological. This is probably the most important question for the 21st century: Will we be able to stop adverse climate changes, including the progressing greenhouse effect on Earth?
Please reply. I invite you to the discussion
If it is no longer possible to reverse the global warming process, will we at least slow down the adverse climate change, the warming of the Earth's temperature, the progressive greenhouse effect on Earth?
What actions should be taken now to make this possible in the 21st century?
Please reply. I invite you to the discussion
Will man manage to create innovative technologies of renewable energy sources, which will stop the greenhouse effect on Earth?
Every year new sources of clean energy and technologies are created. New, innovative technologies in the field of renewable energy are being created. The existing technologies of renewable energy sources have been successively improved in the direction of creating more and more economically efficient and energy-saving technological solutions. New patents and innovative technological solutions are being created. New types of materials used in new energy sources devices are being discovered. The main determinant of technological progress in this field should be the process of implementing the most energy-saving technologies on the industrial scale and promoted for industrial implementation and the transport sector should be sources of energy under RES that will emit the least harmful external effects to the planet Earth environment.
In view of the above, the current question is: Will man manage to create and develop on a mass scale in industry and energy innovative technologies of renewable energy sources, through which will stop the greenhouse effect on Earth?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
Is it possible that man with the help of modern RES energy technology would stop the greenhouse effect on Earth?
Unfortunately, more and more data and research centers scientifically confirms that progressively progressing global warming has become a fact. First and foremost, human activity influences this. The impact of natural factors is significant, however, the progress of civilization, industrial development, greenhouse gas emissions in the past few decades has increased significantly and continues to grow. The biggest problem may be the inability to reverse this process even if all of the industry, energy and transport are now switching to renewable energy sources.
In view of the above, the current question is: Is it possible that man with the help of modern RES energy technology would stop the greenhouse effect on Earth?
I invite you to the discussion.
today, and with this knowledge, i think we can predict it only.
Hopefully we will be able to control. And for that we need a comprehensive effort from all sides.
I don't think that man is able to control natural phenomena such as global warming. But human beings can contribute in planting green forests in deserts and arid regions so that they may lessen effects of weather changes.
Is sustainable socio-economic development possible?
Currently, ecological innovations are being developed in many countries, and renewable energy sources are being developed. For max. decades of traditional energy sources based on minerals will be exhausted. Agricultural arable areas are also likely to shrink. Economics will force an increase in the use of secondary raw materials and reductions in more and more expensive emissions of harmful waste. So in the new pro-ecological economy synergies of pro-ecological different activities will be realized. This synergy may perhaps generate the necessary added value. this added value may, at least partly, help to realize the beautiful ideas of sustainable socio-economic development. Will this happen now? But everything should be done to make it possible, if it ever was possible.
Even if it were to prove in the future that Sustainable socio-economic development is not possible, in the 21st century, try to do everything to make it possible to get as close as possible to it. However, everything possible should be done to achieve sustainable socio-economic development. In the context of this issue, the following question arises: Whether as part of taking up actions that could develop new sustainable development, or whether bottom-up social movements will inspire politicians to undertake pro-ecological initiatives in the future. At the moment, international conferences are held, during which debates on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and accelerating the processes of generating eco-innovations and implementing renewable energy sources on a larger scale. Perhaps there should be even more of this type of discussion, perhaps the pressure from scientists should be greater than that of politicians, while it is not too late yet? Unless it is too late? But it probably does not make sense to accept, to think that it is too late, but you have to do what you can in the future, in part, be able to implement sustainable socio-economic development. Will humanity survive until the XXII century in comparable living conditions to those present? It is not known, but everything possible must be done to ensure that these conditions are not significantly worsened in terms of the protection of the natural environment and the progressing greenhouse effect on Earth.
Yes we cannot stop but reduce it up to some extent, there are several main factors that contributes to climate change.
1. Co2 production by humans, animals, burning process etc
2. CH4 production by animals,
3. CH4 and N20 Plants growing in flooded condition (Rice)
4. Industries production
these are the main factors that increases greenhouse gases that cause global warming and in broad climate change occur.
The only way to reduces it impacts on earth is only planting trees as much as possible because co2 is the primary nutrient for plant industry.
Conversion of flooded rice cultivation into direct seeded rice cultivation that can minimize CH4 emission. I am agriculturist so i belief that agriculture is the only option that can change the world in terms of negative impacts of climate change and economic condition of people.
very difficult in its present context. but we have to limited it............
Sustainable Green City Project of The Future
Perhaps the development of architectural eco-innovations will in the future be recognized as one of the most important pro-ecological innovations as instruments for reducing negative aspects of the progressing global warming.
In connection with the progressing process of global warming, the importance of creating and implementing eco-innovations, including architectural eco-innovations, is growing.
Currently, projects are being created: City of tommorow, Eco City, Vertical Forest, Sustainable Green City etc.
Therefore, I am asking you with the following query:
Do architectural eco-innovations belong to those areas of pro-ecological innovations that can slow down the progressing process of global warming?
Will architectural eco-innovations save cities from the adverse effects of climate change?
Please reply. I invite you to the discussion
Graph. Architectural ecological innovations according to Bill Gates's concept
From a previous discussion I facilitated, I came to the realization that this a cyclical thing and there is little we can do to control it.
Actually climate change is already a reality. Indeed then the question asked is how to stop it (or even reverse it)?
The answer is highly uncertain, because the difference between the models making predictions about our future global climate, show a rather high difference in results the further one goes into the future. Knowing that humanity is not able to predict global meteorology on a daily basis as far as 7 to 10 days into the future, indicates that we do not understand the underlying processes of meteorology and hence climate based on data or predictions of global meteorology very well,... to say the least.
Until now I have not seen exercises based on stochastic, Fourier, NN or AI models trained with past observations. Subsequently, the predicitve power of these models should be tested applying a Jacknifing approach.
Has anybody heard of, or read about these types of approaches e.g. backcast modelling? If such an approach would fit measured datasets of climate, whouldn't they predict future climate accurately as well?
If not…, climate is defenitely a more complex bio- physico- chemical phenomenon, than the most advanced modelling and AI approaches can manage to predict.
Has anybody here any knowledge about rearch going in that direction? Seems straightforward to me, to test what scientists understand and what not!
Cheers,
Frank
We may be not be able to cope with global warming, climate change or other such global problems, but we shouldn't stop our efforts. The impact of our efforts may be minor, but we should keep it continue.
Universe itself resilient in its factors of change. Surely it will......
This is a very pertinent question and one that beg a sober response from policy maker, particularly those that influence how the international affairs are shaped. The question is have we identified the source and cause of the problem? Arguably the highly industrialized nations have a positive and practical role to play in the reduction of adverse climate changes. If it be correct that, the climate change is caused by human activities then only humans can stop or even reverse its advances. The short answer real, is that yes it can be stopped or reversed with enough political will. The scientific community have already done their part in raising the flag that points to the eminent danger. Perhaps scientists have not proposed alternative sources and ways of producing energy in a very convincing way, that can measure up to the present sources. We hear of conferences that debate and agree to pursue certain measures, but on the ground, there is very little to show for it.
The above question inspired me to the following considerations:
What actions should be taken to remove or replace these barriers to the chances of developing renewable energy sources?
Are the main barriers to the development of renewable energy sources the lobbying of enterprises in the energy sector producing electricity and heat based on traditional energy of burning minerals? Is there a lack of financial resources in the majority of countries regarding the financing of high-budget pro-environmental projects from public finance funds? Should there be new, new ecological innovations, new technological solutions in the field of renewable energy sources, electromobility in the automotive field, new generations of batteries, photovoltaic panels, energy storage and transmission stations, hydrogen engines, etc. to produce and use electricity generated on the basis of renewable source of energy has become profitable to become a profitable business? If this process lasts for a long time, there may be a shortage of time to implement the necessary reforms aimed at disseminating in the global economy a model of sustainable pro-ecological development based on the concept of green economy. If this process lasts much longer than by 2030, there may not be enough time to carry out the necessary reforms to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and, consequently, the planet's warming process will accelerate considerably, this process will be irreversible and will continue to accelerate and towards the end of the 21st century century will lead to a global climate disaster that threatens the life of all humanity and most other forms of life on Earth.
In view of the above, the current question is: What are the main barriers to the development of renewable energy sources?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
In addition, I note the interesting discussion inspired me to the following considerations:
The process of popularizing the concept of sustainable pro-ecological development based on the concept of a new, green economy?
What is the role of particular social groups in disseminating the concept of sustainable pro-ecological development based on the concept of a new, green economy?
The role of engineers is particularly important for enabling sustainable development, including sustainable pro-ecological development, based on the concept of a new, green economy. Engineers create new technological solutions, new energy technologies, ecological innovations, innovative ecological buildings, develop renewable energy sources in industry and other applications, create automation technologies for waste segregation, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, develop electromobility, carry out investment projects to reclaim a devastated natural environment, etc. Apart from engineers, the key actors are the state as an economic entity and financial institutions, ie the main actors of external financing of environment-friendly investment projects, thanks to which sustainable sustainable development based on the concept of green economy is enabled and implemented. The role of politicians who set the direction of the necessary systemic changes is also important. Also important is the role of citizens who within the civil and information society are increasingly aware of the threats to the growing risk of climatic cataclysms that are a derivative of the progressive global warming. The role of mass media and new online media is important, including social media portals, thanks to which the level of social awareness for this type of important problems, particularly important in the 21st century, important for humanity, for the whole planet Earth is growing.
In view of the above, the current question is: What is the role of particular social groups in the dissemination of sustainable pro-ecological development based on the concept of a new, green economy?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
Are the biggest global problems of the future underestimated and ignored?
In my opinion, both unfavorable processes, ie the global warming and the depletion of the ozone layer in the atmosphere will increase in the future. However, there is still some time to implement the necessary pro-ecological reforms to slow down these processes. It is estimated that there has been a decade of time to carry out the necessary pro-ecological investments, thanks to which it would be possible to implement sustainable pro-ecological development in the global economy. Hedgehogs do not take these actions in the next decade, then these unfavorable climate processes will accelerate in the future and become permanently irreversible. Then, at the end of the twenty-first century, there will be a global climate cataclysm that will threaten the life of all humanity and a large part of other life forms that inhabit the planet Earth. The problem is therefore serious and underestimated by politicians, entrepreneurs, industrialists and many other social groups. The problem of global warming and decreasing ozone layer in the atmosphere is too little publicized and the educated society is not educated enough.
In view of the above, the current question is: Are the biggest global problems of the future underestimated and ignored?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
Yes we will have a positive change for sure, probably not stop... Technology will solve a large portion of the GHG issues. But there is an even more pressing issue as I see it ... Water
What areas of knowledge will be involved in shaping sustainable pro-ecological economic development in the 21st century?
In recent years ecological innovations have been created mainly in the field of renewable energy sources, improvement of waste segregation techniques, recycling, treatment of polluted water, reclamation of a devastated natural environment, energy-efficient construction, electromobility etc. However, more and more eco-innovations, new technological solutions, technical improvements which is part of sustainable ecological development, is also created in many other fields of science.
In view of the above, are examples of pro-ecological undertakings, technological improvements compatible with sustainable ecological development or ecological innovations that are also created in one of the following or other related fields of science, for example: Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Anthropology Theory, Medicine, Electrical Engineering , Artificial Intelligence, Genetics, Business Administration, Risk Management, Big Data, Business Intelligence, Automation & Robotics, Climatology, Agriculture, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Medical Intelligence, Artificial Neural Networks, Ecosystem Analysis, Power Engineering, Construction, Food production, Forest ecology, Biology, Geoscience, Government Programs, Behavioral Sciences, Biodiversity Assessment, Green Architecture, Greenhouse, Waste, Household Products, Information Society, Innovation Management, International Entrepreneurship, Internet Technologies, Knowledge Creation, Bioelectric Energy gy Sources, Business Model Innovation, Cataclysmic Variables, Chromatography, Clean Energy, Cleantech, Climate Prediction, Collaborative Innovation, Commercialization, Computational Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering, Conservation Biology, Consumer Behavior, Corporate Governance, Creative Economy, Crisis Communication, Cyber Security, Data Analysis, Database Administration, Development Cooperation, Digital Ecosystems, Economic Ecoindicators, Ecosystem Ecology, Energy Industry, Ecological Modeling Ecological Economics, Ecological Indicators, Discovery, Earth Sciences, Earthquake Forecasting and Geocataclysm, Econometric Analysis, Economic Integration, Economics of Innovation, Ecosystem Engineering, Electricity, Electronic Systems, Energetic Materials, Energy Technologies, Environment, Environmental Biodegradation, Flora, Food Consumption Life Sciences, Logistics Management, Materials for Sustainable Energy, Astronomy & Astrophysics, Nanomaterials, New Media Technology, Recycling, Physics of Global Warming, Plant Protection, Predicive Analytics, Production Planning, Project Development, Public Economics, Public Policy, Public Policy, Sociobiology, Space Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Development Strategies, Technology Forecasting, Transport Economics, Water Resources, Weather Forecasting, Wildlife Conservation, World Economy, ...?
In view of the above, the current question is: What areas of knowledge will be involved in shaping sustainable pro-ecological economic development in the 21st century?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
In fact, we do not know whether humanity will be able to stop the progressing greenhouse effect of the Earth in the 21st century.
However, all possible pro-environmental measures should be taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thus slow down the global warming process.
Do you agree with me on the above matter?

Do you think that climate changes, global warming, and the greenhouse effect all caused by peoples.
May be global warming is effect of decreasing of electromagnetic field of Earth which increase the radiation effect of Sun or changes of our Solar system like out Sun starts process to becoming the red supergiant.
Yes, possible if extensive elaborate research effort regarding climate change will applied globally. All the parameters related to climate change should be study extensively.
I would like to write in another perspective than scholars discussed above.
People try to solve problems with an intention of procuring something in return especially in the term of wealth or monetary assets. The returns of solving a problem like climate changes, global warming, and the greenhouse effect more inclined to the social than the commercial side. We can even call it social entrepreneurship and unfortunately very scarce investors putting resources because of the capitalistic nature of industries. The one who solves such a problem is a genuine entrepreneur. Though it is not that easy without resources and technology required to solve such crucial problems of the 21st century.
I agree with you @Nayan, It is very difficult as there is a total blindness to the reality that all things are possible. They say with their mouths "That is amazing" but will not invest because they do not believe. All the same after 10 years of self investment, we have achieved the overall best hope (personal opinion lol) of solving an untold number of our most pressing problems. Cheers

of course we are able to overcome the impacts of climate change; we just need to live a decent life-style, don#t waste our resources, don#t exploit our neighbors, don#t drive cars that consume 24l/100km, etc. We first need to acknowledge that we have a serious challenge, instead of denying it, and then I am certain that we shall be able to overcome these challenges.
In the context of the progressive warming of the Earth's climate, the following question is of particular importance:
How can environmental protection and biodiversity be improved by using current ecological technologies?
Due to the current civilization progress in recent decades, acceleration of the development of industry, automotive, urban agglomerations, intensification of agricultural production, etc. and related greenhouse gas emissions, global warming, ozone layer depletion in the atmosphere, increase of environmental pollution, growing problem of smog in urban agglomerations, the increase in pollution of the seas and oceans to which unsorted waste is thrown away is cut out as part of the predatory economy of tropical forests in the Amazon and other largest natural forest ecosystems.
In addition, the secondary effect of global warming of the Earth's climate is the increasing, more frequent weather anomalies, including drought, leading to steppe and desertification of areas that were previously natural forest ecosystems or areas exploited by agriculture.
As a result of the above-mentioned processes, every year many species of flora and fauna disappear forever.
As a result, natural biodiversity diminishes, which for millions of years evolved evolutionally on Earth.
In this way the natural resources of the planet Earth are irretrievably in decline.
In view of the above, the issue of environmental protection and biodiversity is one of the most important challenges of humanity in the 21st century.
Classical economics must change towards a green economy based on the strategy of sustainable pro-ecological development.
Therefore, I am asking you for the following query:
How can environmental protection and biodiversity be improved by using current ecological technologies?
Please, answer, comments.
I invite you to the discussion.

The above question inspired me to the following considerations:
How to activate the development of ecological innovations and pro-ecological reforms in economic processes?
Ecological innovations should contribute to accelerating the process of a global change in the strategy of civilization development towards sustainable ecological and socio-economic development. In the context of increasing greenhouse gas emissions, the ongoing global warming process, growing environmental pollution and the devastation of many environments and natural ecosystems, it is necessary to stimulate the development of eco-innovation and pro-ecological reforms in economic processes to implement sustainable economic and environmental friendly socio-economic development based on green economy concept.
Yes, it is necessary to change the development strategy based on intensifying the exploitation of the Earth's resources on the sustainable development strategy. It is necessary to develop new energy technologies based on renewable energy sources to slow down the progressing greenhouse effect of the Earth in order to reduce the risk of dramatic natural cataclysms. It is necessary to develop ecological innovations, while it may not be too late. It is necessary to save the Earth by extinction for future generations.
The 21st century is the last moment to introduce global sustainable development based on the development of renewable energy and ecological innovations. Sustainable development should be analyzed and measured in correlation with the analysis of economic growth and the share of individual sectors in the country's economic development, including the transformation of traditional energy sources into renewable energy, environmental reclamation and recovery of recyclable materials, and ecological innovations.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
How to activate the development of ecological innovations and pro-ecological reforms in economic processes?

Therefore, in the context of the above considerations, the following important question appears:
How to increase the effectiveness of environmental protection programs, natural ecosystems and biodiversity?
Protection of the environment, natural ecosystems and biodiversity should be an integral part of the concept of sustainable pro-ecological economic development?
In the context of growing and increasing environmental pollution and declining areas of natural ecosystems, the importance and need to improve environmental protection systems, natural ecosystems and biodiversity is increasing. Biodiversity is one of the most important issues of natural ecosystems and life on Earth. Maintaining high biodiversity on Earth should be a challenge and one of the main goals of human functioning on the Earth in the 21st century and in subsequent centuries.
In connection with the above, protection of the environment, natural ecosystems and biodiversity should be an integral part of the concept of sustainable ecological development. In some countries, the concept of sustainable pro-ecological economic development is implemented successively, primarily in the field of renewable energy sources, improvement of waste segregation techniques and recycling development. However, in many countries these issues are still insufficiently developed.
Still too small financial resources are allocated in many countries for the development of renewable energy sources, improvement of waste segregation and recycling techniques. In addition to the private sector, besides enterprises implementing ecological innovations, it is necessary to increase expenditures and develop strategic pro-ecological reform projects, including restructuring of the mining industry of minerals supplying classic energy sources and development of energy based on renewable energy sources. This development should be supported and coordinated by environmentally friendly state intervention, and due to the high investment costs of construction of power plants producing electricity from renewable energy sources should be co-financed from the state public finance funds.
In this way, it will be possible to slow down the ongoing global warming process in the 21st century and thus slow down the process of devastating the natural environment, draining green areas characterized by high biodiversity. Biodiversity is a very important issue in the context of the analysis of ecology, sustainable development and the protection of the natural environment, including, in particular, the natural positions of biologically complex ecosystems, i.e. those that are characterized by high biodiversity. Maintaining biodiversity of natural ecosystems is one of the most important problems and tasks for people in the 21st century.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
In the context of the above considerations, the following question is still valid:
How to increase the effectiveness of environmental protection programs, natural ecosystems and biodiversity?

In addition, I note the interesting discussion inspired me to the following considerations:
To what extent does the development of eco-innovation and renewable energy improve the protection of the environment, natural biological ecosystems and biodiversity?
In my opinion, the development of innovative ecological technologies and eco-innovations as well as renewable energy sources and their implementation into economic processes is a growing important factor of sustainable green economic development based on the green economy concept.
In a situation where pro-ecological innovations are developed, including energy-related innovations, including new technologies of renewable energy sources, then pro-development anti-crisis, Keynesian socio-economic policy obtains additional attributes of modernity taking into account the protection of natural resources of the environment, protection of natural biological ecosystems and biodiversity.
In this situation, the classic pro-development anti-crisis, Keynesian social and economic policy is transformed into an ecological socio-economic policy implemented into the economy as part of the promotion of sustainable proecological socio-economic development taking into account the new green economy principles, including care for the protection of natural environmental resources, protection natural biological ecosystems and biodiversity.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
To what extent does the development of eco-innovation and renewable energy improve the protection of the environment, natural biological ecosystems and biodiversity?

In my opinion, the main barriers in most countries for the development of renewable energy sources is the lack of financial resources in state budgets and lobbying of the mining sector of energy raw materials and the energy sector based on classical energy sources.

Dear Friends and Colleagues of RG
In the coming years, humanity should carry out pro-ecological reforms of the classic energy based on the burning of minerals by converting it into environmentally friendly energy based on renewable energy sources. It should be possible to allocate as much as possible to this environmentally-friendly transformation of the energy industry because what will be realized in this matter over the next dozen or so years depends on the pace of the progressive and accelerating process of greenhouse gas emissions and global warming. Ecological innovations developed primarily in the field of new technologies of renewable energy sources are helpful in the process of proecological energy transformation.
Thanks to ecological innovations, the scope and possibilities of implementing sustainable ecological development are increasing. In connection with the progressing global warming process, it is necessary to develop eco-innovations in the field of renewable energy development, improvement of sorting techniques, recycling, electromobility, organic farming, plastic reduction from packaging and conversion of plastics to biodegradable materials, etc.
In this way, through the development of eco-innovations and their implementation on an industrial scale, it is possible to implement a sustainable pro-ecological economic development in modern economies. This is a key challenge for humanity in the 21st century. It is a challenge to the necessary and possibly quick implementation in the coming years.

In the context of the progressive warming of the Earth's climate, the following question is of particular importance:
What do you think is the importance of biodiversity in natural ecosystems?
Biodiversity is diverse in virtually unlimited degree, which results from the essence of processes of evolution of species, filet lines and entire ecosystems. It is thanks to the millions of years of evolutionary processes on Earth that there are so many different natural and highly diverse ecosystems in which different species of flora, fauna, fungi and microorganisms adapt to life in different and very diverse geographical and climatic environments.
The largest biodiversity of ecosystems and species functions in natural environmental environments in which ecosystems have evolved without human impact through millions of years of climatic and geographical conditions enabling the development of various life forms. These types of high biodiversity sites can be found in unpolluted rainforest ecosystems in tropical forests, in temperate climates and in coral reefs.
Unfortunately, human civilization activity contributes to the successive and accelerating process of biodiversity reduction by dying out species of living organisms. The areas of natural natural ecosystems are decreasing, including those in which the greatest biodiversity is diagnosed, such as the rainforests of the Amazon. The protection of naturalistic ecosystems and thus the protection of the planet's biodiversity is the most important challenge for mankind in the 21st century.
Do you agree with my opinion on this matter?
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
What do you think is the importance of biodiversity in natural ecosystems?

In view of the above, it is also important to include in the above discussion also the following issue:
Will ecological innovations help in speeding up the process of a globally changing civilization development strategy towards sustainable ecological and social development?
Yes, it is necessary to change the development strategy based on intensifying the exploitation of the Earth's resources on the sustainable development strategy. It is necessary to develop new energy technologies based on renewable energy sources to slow down the progressing greenhouse effect of the Earth in order to reduce the risk of dramatic natural cataclysms. Unfortunately, more and more data from climatologists confirms the thesis that the ongoing global warming process is a permanent process. Reversing this process is rather impossible. There is a significant slowdown in the situation of a quick reduction of greenhouse gas emissions which can be achieved through various pro-ecological actions, primarily through the development of renewable energy sources instead of classic energy based on the burning of minerals. In addition, the development of electromobility, sustainable ecological farming, etc. Thanks to the ever-more-advanced technologies of prediction of climate change processes, humanity gets the opportunity to estimate risk and potential threats of climate anomalies and weather disasters resulting from the ongoing global warming process. Thanks to more and more perfect information technologies, Industry 4.0, it is possible to estimate the time of global warming at a given greenhouse gas emission with increasing accuracy.
Some pathways are alternative livelihood, policy framing and awareness
This is really a burning question in this present time, we can explain, tell, give so many suggestions about the way to get away from any adverse situation. But who is going to bell the cat?
As some evidences and researches have been illustrated, it is impossible in short period of time.
Dear Mojtaba Khanian, Thank you very much for the answers to the question: Will we be able to stop adverse climate changes, global warming, and the greenhouse effect on Earth? I fully agree with your opinion on this matter. Yes, in a short time, the implementation of the pro-ecological transformation of the traditional brown economy into a sustainable green economy / circular economy is not possible in a short time, counted in several months, quarters or several years. This process will be carried out for the next decades. Therefore, the importance and urgent need to carry out a pro-ecological transformation of the economy, i.e. implementation of the principles of sustainable development, including the creation and implementation of eco-innovations in economic processes, is growing. However, on the other hand, according to the estimates of climatologists analyzing the progressing global warming process, the necessary pro-ecological reforms should be carried out by 2050 at the latest. Best wishes,
Have a nice day,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
Yes because all hands are on deck , there will be shift in industrial engines and transports engines, hydrocarbon fuel will be out if use soon. In Ecological Engineering, researchers are working brilliantly likewise other aspect of ecology.
Dear Sule Akkoyunlu, Yes, adapting legal norms to the changing reality of environmental policy and enforcing this law are important factors in the context of this issue of the implementation of the pro-ecological transformation of the economy.
Best regards,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
Dear Taiwo Alare, Yes, in the process of ecological transformation of the economy it is necessary to simultaneously implement pro-ecological activities and reforms in various areas of the economy. The depletion of energy fossil fuels will force the acceleration of the development of energy based on renewable energy sources. However, the needs related to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development, social environmental (ecological) responsibility, pro-ecological reforms to implement eco-innovations in economic processes, etc., are very urgent due to the progressing global warming process and it is impossible to wait for the exhaustion of energy minerals raw materials with the transformation of the energy sector. only the pro-ecological transformation of the energy sector and the entire economy should be carried out at a much faster pace. Best wishes,
Dariusz Prokopowicz
Despite the answer, we should act as if we can not stop climate changes. Pro-ecological transformation of the energy sector , suggested by Dariusz Prokopowicz, is only part of the problem. Climate change will cause (have caused already) deep changes in other sides of economy & production, including agriculture, human's health, and transportation.
Completed agreed with Dariusz Prokopowicz explanation/information regarding this query...
Yes, it is possible, if we want.
But, the practical situation is really sad to predict.
Practically, all people will not try heartily to stop the Green house effect.
I may be wrong. If I am wrong , I will be happy.
Best Wishes
N Das
One rational problem is, maybe, the public battle, between conditionality (to do) and causality ( to cause), which is fought. In my opinion, our war against nature and natural principles can be stopped (reducing our footprint). The question is part of the 'alienation' problem between men, nature and men, i.e. to preserve creation and to be creative.
I agree to Nityananda Das opinion. We are not trying seriously to stop the Green house effect. Politicians are pretending to do it to "throw a bone" to protesting people. The more than 20-years old discussion revealed the efficient decision linked to decreased life quality for many people, but it will ruin the current economic life much worse than COVID-19.
Global warming and Green house effect is due to Carbon dioxide emissions into atmoshphre due to Over-population, urbanisation, industrialisation, deforestation etc if these factors are controlled than it will be reduced and controlled.
This is a good question but unless mankind takes drastic measures, we will not be able to do this.
