Is any other system going to take over some of the market size of hadoop for specific application scenarios?

I think only some limited number of people can really predict that.

What you can see now it' that almost all big IT vendors accepted Hadoop as kind of a "de-facto" for Big Data. It means that this technology will be alive for the next five years. However there is a lot of effort from industry and research to other tools and techniques, for example Apache Spark.
