I am very hopeful that future will be characterized by world peace because there are no winners in the war in this global society. There is an increasing recognition that world resources are shrinking with populations for developing countries booming to create Malthusian trap, causing negative checks (population growth will stop due to food shortage) unless countries cooperate to reinforce Positive Checks.

I do not think I'm peaceful because of the evolution of the economy and the economy
The war will never make any solution. Nowadays, all responsible countries are avoiding weapon war because they understand the trade is important than the weapon war.
Dear all,
I fear history teaches us that humans tend not to co-exist and co-operate peacefully. I am not very optimistic regarding World Peace...
I am seeing many tendencies currently that are speaking of a future fight over resources of clean water, habitat and nutrition, and also personal health:
- Trade wars,
- a growing populism and nationalism,
- Conflicts and hate speech in social media,
- depletion of natural resources such as fossil fuels, clean water,
- depletion of wildlife and natural ecosystems,
- human aid funding that is channeled into the pockets of politicians,
- global migration streams of refuguees that are flooding into full countries,
- global climate change crisis, and
- a global human population over 7 billion heading towards 9 or 10 billion...
I believe in a paradisical world that would bring eternal peace to humankind on earth in the future.
However, now, if the citizens of countries adopt the ideals in cultural hybridity - living with the values of oneness in humankind, we can attain considerable measure of peace on the global scale.
I dont think so really . The current happenings won’t be of gladtidings in the future
I think that the direction of the major international powers to wage a global war (not similar to the previous world wars, and a new formulation agreed upon by the leaders of those powers) in order to find a way out of the dilemmas that occurred in international conflicts such as wars devastating to oil and gas wells and increasing battles over water and food.
My answer above is about the fact based real world, not about the spiritual world...
With the current situations around the world, we can only pray for God's intervention to restore peace to our land. Peace in the world ....
Human beings are the smartest species in the world intelligent-wise and also some of the dumbest. Some never learn form the experiences and therefore history repeats again. Politicians and greed are at the heart of conflicts and will continue so long as there are human beings on this earth and greed continues to rule.
No chance to change drastically in the near future. Sometimes, one feels humans are getting worse. Major conflicts (like World Wars) have stopped, no one wants to be the one to start them. Small conflicts, however, are on the rise as people without education receive less benefits, so they are willing to get benefits (so they think) with violence.
It would be good that humanity would be based on peace. Buddhism, Jainism and Christianity were established on the pillars of non-violence, service and peace. But it could not happen due to shortsightedness of human.
However, it is also true that humanity will only be saved if it follows peace in practice (not only in theories). We have to respect voice of non-voiced including poor, animal, plants and biosphere.
