Dear community,

I want to use Zebrafish as an animal model to check T-cell activation by a special Antibody containing an anti-CD3 Domain. Therefore I will inject human PBMCs and with some delay the antibody into fish embryos. At different time points I will then check the PBMCs for activation markers like e.g. CD69 and CD25 on the CD4/ CD8 fraction via FACS. I could find lots of papers that tell me that from the zebrafish point of view this is fine as the adaptive immune system of the zebrafish will not be developed in the stage were I planed to do the experiments. But so far I could not find literature about the human xenografted PBMCs reacting with the fish cells or not. And if so in a level that is negligible or that will interfere with my experiments?

I would be pleased if someone could back me up with some research on this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Best,

Daniel
