Hello,

I am currently performing a small molecule screen. The screen is to find a molecule which competitively inhibits the binding of two proteins. The screen is a sandwich-type ELISA. The buffer used to dilute ELISA components as well as the small molecules is PBS with 0.1% FBS and 0.04% Tween-20. I have chosen to store my small molecules at 5X in this buffer overnight at 4C. Will the FBS and Tween-20 present in the buffer affect binding or composition of the small molecules? Will the FBS block possible binding sites on the proteins from small molecules?

Thank you!
