thanks for your question. in the above link: Autoclaving does inactivate DEPC by causing hydrolysis of diethylpyrocarbonate. but in some reffrences comes that a little of CO2 and EtOH that released as reaction by-products stay.

I do not think ,there is a problem for two reasons:

1- instability of "Diethyl pyrocarbonate (DEPC)" under autoclave condition

2- The lack of attention and requests of companies that are active in this regard.

• Low amounts: 1-100 ng of total RNA, DNA free,  or equivalent fresh material "
