i want to wash eppendorf tubes and laboratorial dishes with DEPC-treated water (incubate for 3 hours) and autoclave them in 120 c for RNA extraction and RNA sequencing. is dose DEPC interfer with RNA sequencing?
thanks for your question. in the above link: Autoclaving does inactivate DEPC by causing hydrolysis of diethylpyrocarbonate. but in some reffrences comes that a little of CO2 and EtOH that released as reaction by-products stay.
