Hi Everyone,

  • I am working on an inhibitor and I am doing electrophysiology. I might have added a wrong concentration of an inhibitor which I am quite not sure. So when I calculated the new concentration, the difference between the new and old concentration was around 0.06UM( micro molar). So would this affect the ion channel activity of a cell ? The hill Coefficient of the inhibitor in a similar cell type was found to be 1 when the IC50 was 70nm or (.07UM).

so could someone tell me whether this difference of my inhibitor concentration will really affect my result ?

Many Thanks in advance,

Sooraj.
